About Veronda Jones, artist

Hello and welcome! My name is Veronda Jones, and I am a professional artist and art educator based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Art has always been my passion, and over the years, I’ve dedicated my life to creating, teaching, and inspiring others through the power of visual expression.
I specialize in commission paintings and offer private art lessons for both children and adults. My primary mediums include acrylic, graphite, and mixed media, and I’m especially passionate about creating animal portraits and realistic figure paintings that capture personality and emotion. In addition, I host paint-and-sip classes for kids and adults, providing a fun, relaxed environment where creativity flows freely.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts from Fayetteville State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Grand Canyon University. With 22 years of experience teaching visual arts to middle and high school students, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to nurture artistic skills and build confidence in artists at every level.
In the past year, I’ve taken a leap of faith and pursued my dream of becoming a full-time professional artist. Through my commission work, classes, and workshops, my goal is to help others discover the joy of creating while continuing to grow and evolve in my own artistic journey.
